At least in stock form, those 993s also have the weird rear-end shimmy in triple-digit sweepers.
I watched one of my own videos. I brake with the ball of my foot and swing the heel over to the right for the blip. I've got no idea if this is the best way to do it, but it's what works for me. At least, I've got a mag case 915 box with 10 hard years of track use on it. So something's working.

I got one of the West Wing pedals years ago, and I usually use my heel. Not all feet are created equal. The idea of a tab also sounded good. If it helps, why not use it. Jack was right on it for me.
Some of those posts sounded a tad boastfull. What came first big shoes or large helmets?

Large shoes are not an issue in my 993. But I now know why large shoes do not work in confined areas like the cockpit of a Formula Renault car. I had to borrow racing shoes or just drive in my socks when I got to drive the Formula Renault car. Using my big shoes meant I was all toes when I tried to heal/toe.
