David Murray Track Days @ NJMP
Just a quick shout out to say what a great event David and the team provide. We had more track time than one could ever want with helpful tips from David.
There were quite a few fellow Rennlisters in attendance.
Hope they come back to NJMP next year

+1 on the event being FANTASTIC!!!
Had another great experience learning from David Murry at this event. As someone who continues to want to improve my driving I find these DM events spectacular to learn at. I brought my video and data to David about 5 times or so and each time I picked up something new that made sense. Perhaps if I go to enough DM events I will suck less!
Thanks to David Murry and Mark Taylor for all your effort in making theses events happen! Also thanks for treating the drivers as responsible adults who as Mark said "must take care of each other out there" The event went super smooth (but a bit hot out) and everybody played nicely out there.
Here is a video of my two best laps. I am going to try to do a SCCA race at Tbolt in August so this event certainly helped me shave some time off. I am running a 96 showroom spec miata and as you can tell the chicane was part of the course. I am sure there is more time I could shave off my laps but I feel I made some decent progress
Mr Firehawk, I am sorry I did not get a chance to come over to see you, but perhaps you will be at the Murry VIR event and we can chat then!

Looks good Mike. Think how fast you could be with tires from this century.
Don't ask about my times.
And yes we were all admiring the FireHawk

Definitely a top notch event with minimal BS logistics and constraints. Loved the schedule:
8:30-noon. Open track
Noon-1. Lunch
1-4:30. Open track
Perfect for testing and tuning.
Kudos and Mark Taylor and David Murry.

+1. The drivers meeting was good too - "'communicate', any questions?". :-)
Great event! Being able to sit with David and review data and vid was worth the price of admission alone..
Nice meeting some RLers too!

Thanks!
Guys,
Thanks for the kind words but a lot of the credit always goes to the participants. Once we go green, it's all on you. You know the deal: "take care of each other", and you did.
Photos (by Newlin Keene) are at www.tracktimephotos.com.
Just back from ALMS at Lime Rock. Anthony qualified the pro car in 7th - just over a second off the pole. Not too bad for a privateer. David will start the race.
Again guys - thank you all for coming and we hope to see you at VIR in September........and at Watkins in August with Group52.
Best,
-Mark
PS: Sorry Mike..........Lainey wins the "Most Revoltingly Cute Dog at a Track Event" award.

So I don't bring my Track Bitch to one event and already she is yesterday's news! I'll let her know!
Hmmmm, maybe at VIR we can practise that new word she learned, "attack"
BTW Mark, were you looking at the dog or something(s) else?
