I could have sworn I just wrote "Alonso's pass on Hamilton was NOT a trivial freebee pass. It took guts on Fernando's part".

Just because I am cheering for his rival does not mean I do not recognize that Alonso is a extremely talented F1 driver.

Hope all you want, but that is not going to keep Fernando off the top step of the podium Fernando will be there a few more times in the 2011 season

It would have been more interesting had the one race ban on blown diffusers not occurred.
The changing positions of Ferrari and Sauber on this topic does seem a bit "odd", especially given the outcome of the race (which was lost in the pits IMHO).

If in fact the rules stay consistent (Valencia rules, ECU in parc ferme, no changes to blown diffusers/off throttle) AND the tires stay consistent, it should be an interesting race to the end of the season.

Your point was that this talk about Webbber is silly because he's in 2nd place in points.

My point is that he is barely in 2nd place with the best car on grid. My other point is that Webber is so far behind his teammate that it's a joke. Any other driver on grid including Sato would have beat their teammate at least once in 9 attempts

Good argument I'm just not convinced that Webber's and Vettel's cars are equal I'm reminded of the time they took the improved nose of Webber's car and gave it to Vettel. This suggests to me that Vettel is given preference over MW which may include the better of the two cars I remember 2009, when Braun GP had RB who consistently finished second behind Button in spite of the fact that they had identical cars Just food for thought.

I'm in, lets just say $20 that way you can buy what you like. I'm a beer drinker, don't like wine or the hard stuff. I don't see a need for someone else to hold the money, I won't welch and they can ban me if I do.

Wilhelm picks Vettel to win more races than Alonso from Germany forward
Raj picks Alonso to win more races than Vettel from Germany forward.

We good?

Not for the WDC , we are short one race , you have a 96 point lead ,i know it's the kind of odds you have lost with in the past ......

I will go with most points scored from here out , you lose points for every life line thrown .......

Guys... This is all very silly.
I will predict that Vettel will be 2011 WDC period!
Alonso will win some other races that has long straights and fast corners/bends.
Hammy will definitely crash into some other racers because he thinks he can walk/drive over water/****!
I'm just enjoying watching other young guns climbing up the ladder to set them selves to be new kings in future.
And please tell Brawn to fire or have schumi retire so he doesn't embarrass any further...

I am sure if Alonso were leading the WDC, the bet would be different....no wait, that sounds familiar....oh yes, last season heading into Bahrain.

Heimlich...how do you say that in Italian?

Sir A.Wayne, "we" are short of more things than just one race...I am thinking short a few Crayons from a full box perhaps?
