However
Tovo will not be sworn in until June 28th.
.......Thursday will be Shade's last council meeting. Tovo will be sworn in June 28 , along with Council Members Laura Morrison and Chris Riley , who won second terms in May .
However if they don't get F1 through tomorrow -- or if they decide to bring it up post Shade:

It looks to be an uphill battle.

Who is this bitch? maybe we should pull a "Godfather" move on her (you know, as in her waking up next to the severed head of her horse or something).

Yes. there were about 300 of us there & signed up to speak. Of those, about 260 were in favor of them voting Yes.
So they punted & put off the vote until next week. In tat time, a new council member who is vehemently opposed to anything automotive (except for her own cars) will be sworn in.
Bottom line: it was a waste of an afternoon.

I wonder why that is. Its both "sides" of the isle too. It has to be more than just about these slugs and leaches keeping their "jobs"

Our mayor was the only one who opposed the delay. He correctly said "We have examined this for a long period of time, it is a huge gift offered to the City of Austin and to risk losing it is something that I'm not willing to do,"
