you should get to europe some time and visit some sweden baths. 
that would be probably quite a shock for an average puritan minded american.
northern culture is different. finland, sweden, norway, it is different. people do bath naked, people do sunbath naked, they give no damn about exterior issues, whole family bathes together and do not find anything shameful about their naked bodies.
it is quite different from complex of sin catholic church infused over last 2K years into people`s minds.
