BREAKING NEWS - STOLEN: Truck, trailer and race car! Race Car recovered near DIA in Watkins, CO - largely intact (has motor/still runs okay, has transmission/haven't been able to drive it yet. Steering wheel missing, right race seat and harness missing, cool suit switch missing, probably a few other things, but most of it's there!

Nothing on truck, but now have stripped trailer and race car back.

More details when I learn them.

The trailer was recovered in a NW suburb of Denver on 5/19/11. Interior is stripped of everything except the car tie-downs, one gas funnel, a tube of sunscreen and a down comforter.

Nothing on the truck.

STOLEN between midnight and 5:30 am on Saturday, 5/14/11, in SE Denver, CO, a GOLD 2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty Extended Cab (4-dr.) diesel with CO license tag 193 NER (bare, no topper shell or tailgate) towing a WHITE 2006 Interstate Loadrunner 24' enclosed trailer with CO tag 971 NXL. Inside WAS my red 1993 911 (C2 RS clone, 3.8l wing). Also in trailer were lots of tools including new Hitachi lighweight impact wrench, Traqmate, Sony HD camcorder (all gifts from my wife, Sunny), extra set of 18" OZ Allegeritas with Kumhos. On the car, a set of 18" 996 Cup magnesium BBS with Hoosiers (225/285). Much more....

MORE BREAKING NEWS:

Truck Recovered in Arvada, CO

On 6/9/11, Arvada PD found the truck abandoned (same city in which trailer was abandoned 2-3 days post-theft and called in 5 days post-theft). Thieves had shot one of my fire extinguishers all over the front interior to interfere with evidence gathering. Ignition had been punched, so looks like they were able to get past the exterior keypad and then just punched and hot-wired (rather than some more sophisticated theft). Police believe the know the gang of thieves; drug-oriented and associated with meth, coke and chop shops. Guess it's lucky they don't appear to like a particular German car; no offense taken over your poor choice(s), really, thieves!

Should be able to see it sometime early next week and see how bad it is, but, hey, this is ending a lot better than I thought it would a month ago.
