North of Colfax East of Federal?

Pure speculation but it probably hasn't left the Metro Denver area.

Two Recaro seats. One Pole Position, one SPG (mine, loaned to Scott). Car has lexan rear window with a slot cut in it. The cage is fairly unique in that it isn't race legal as it doesn't have any door bars. Just thought I'd add some detail in case anyone sees such parts popping up for sale.
Thanks,
Joe

This is terrible news and I hope they catch the buggers, but unfortunately the odds are against you.

One of the highest rate of stolen vehicles here in B.C. are Ford F-series trucks, and in fact so much that the insurance companies are paying for immobilizers to be retrofitted into the trucks. I had one installed in my 99 F250 Super Duty that way.

Did your truck have a immobilizer? Was it parked at home or you were on the road traveling to the track?

Regards,

Mike

Thanks Makmov. I've spent about 8 hrs. over the last 2 days roaming the industrial parts of southwest Denver and Englewood. Haven't gotten up there yet, but I know the area you're talking about.

Thanks all. Nothing yet.

Good idea, Quigs. Will do.

Thanks, Joe. The cage is a Safety Devices bolt-in and SD sticker can be seen through the side windows. The rear lexan window has 4 ventilation holes in it.

Comm City, too. I have kind of scouted out Aurora and Englewood myself. I have some feelers out, and I watch Ebay and Craigslist regularly.

What departments have you contacted. I have a few friends with the Denver PD, Aurora PD and Adams county - no idea if they can do anything or not.

I don't live too far from I25 and Yale - Live in Aurora and work in Englewood.

Have you looked in that industrial park south of Hampden and east of Santa Fe?

I am guessing it's probably seperated by now - truck and trailer. I guess if they were just after the car they could have ditched the truck and trailer in a truck stop, maybe the one off I270. I can just imagine it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Did you have a tracking device in the truck or trailer? None the less I will spread the word up here in Montreal Canada, you never know!

Email me something I can just cut and paste on all the sites up hear including kijiji and CL.
