Default Ferrari P4/5 at VLN (2 April 2011)

Our car in V4 finished the two hour race, but this one retired at the 1:17 mark. It was fast, but not fastest, but it did look great and attracted a crowd.

That car is hot.

Can you tell us more?

I saw it during VLN testing on March 26.

Glickenhaus was walking around it whilst I was there, then the "models" arrived with a photographer who asked if they could take a few shots. Glickenhaus first said yes, then thought to get his son in the picture, then confirmed that it was for the track and not a company conflicting with one of his sponsors and then we just walked out of frame (maybe he LOOKED at the models).

I do not know why the car failed to finish--I don't think it was contact or I would have heard about that. I was so knackered by the end of the race that I did not get around to the other boxes, but then the team pack up pretty quickly.

I drove a BMW 325i in V4 (a stock class) with two other drivers. First time I raced on slicks and first time I raced at the Ring. The closing speeds of the GT3Rs, the SLS and this car were amazing. The carnage was substantial, too, with lots of cars in the wall and debris on the track at times. Fantastic experience--truly unique. I just wish I were any good!
