Default Source for start finish GPS data?

Hi All
I am setting up my Traqmate for the first time. It's my first data acquisition tool other than my wife with an iPhone timer.
Where do you find gps start finish coordinates? I looked at Trackpedia which doesn't have them for NHMS or LRP.
Is it just as easy to simply hit the track and start recording data without first entering the coordinates?
TIA

^ +1 Dave. Best solution to avoid any 'drift'. Throws away the first lap, maybe run grp, but the best solution and what I was advised to do. Just be sure on that first session at some point the S-F set takes.. You are set then for the weekend.

Dave - easiest set is at the Tracks S-F line which usually is on a straight. Anyways, set it on the longest straight available as that is the safest way to look over and confirm it has started timing.

PM sent on other thoughts..

I always set it at the track. Plus I don't always like the location especially if it's at the end of a straight or if checker is thrown somewhere else.

+2!

Do it at the track s/f line at the end of your out lap of your first session. Easy!

Go to AIM dowwnload site http://www.aim-sportline.com/pages/d...n_software.php and downloat the GPS manager or Smarty Cam software, then click on the "Tracks" tab. Most of the tracks in the world are listed with GPS coordinates.
