My vote is for Crazy Canuck's new avatar.......

The Glen although VIR is a tough second place.

The advantage for the race at The Glen is that it's over Memorial Day weekend, with Memorial Day being a travel day.

VR, I though Elmira airport was the closest to The Glen?

Elmira has an "airport"?

Actually, on the map it looks as if they are equidistant....

VIR +1

Having lived in Central NY for five years, the pick up line was, "Hey nice tooth"

Another plus for VIR is if something happens to your car, parts or supports are closer at hand. Raleigh/Durham, Greensboro both pretty close, but even better Synergy Racing's shop is at the track.

But as others have said, do both!
Like VR's pic few post back. Yummy!

Not armco, it's 'Blue Bushes'.. and as far as I can tell, they are not on the racing surface.

Both great tracks but I believe the Glen is a better " event " .
I put the Glen up there with Sebring as one of the best PCA events
you can attend.

No other track out here flows like the Glen, though VIR is quite good. Personally I would bag the rest of the season just to be able to do both.

How could I forget to mention Mr. Chicken? That alone is almost worth the trip.

The Glen and it's not even close... Fly into Elmira. Town is great, track is epic, event is bigger than VIR, event is MUCH cooler temperature wise than VIR and it's Memorial Day weekend.

I've heard the same thing along with Road America.
