I couldn't find the information everywhere I looked.
Do my actual HANS clips will fit my new SAH2010 helmets (with integrated terminals) or do I have to buy another set?
I have a pro serie hans with the matching clips on my current helmet.
Tx.

the clips on your existing HANS straps should work.

Nope they don't really work.
The backing plate is bonded to the inside of the helmet so you can't index the post.
Here's the info on the HANS website.

Sounds like you guys are talking about two different things. (1) Will the old style anchors work on a SAH helmet? (2) Will the regular tethers work on the SAH style anchors?

Thanks Joe.
So I need a new set then? On the picture, I have the post anchors on the left side. Currently installed on my SA2005. I have the pro serie with sliding tethers (2nd image). I understand that the SAH post anchors will fit these sliding tethers, right?

The tethers aren't a problem. When you say proseries are you talking about the quick disconnect?
The catch is that with the old system you could adjust the backing plate wasn't set and you could spin it so the point on the post was in the correct direction when it was tight. Now since the backing plate isn't moveable you can try and see if the posts orient the right sway.
It's most important for people who take the HANS off separate from teh helmet. If the post is pointed the wrong driection it's really tough to remove that while it's on you. If you always have the HANS and helmet attached then you can get by with the current setup.
The only thing the SAH posts do is allow you to point the posts in the direction you want from the outside of the helmet.

It will be luck of the draw whether or not when you screw in your existing post anchor, whether or not it will orient properly. I've seen two cases where they have, but YMMV.
And yes, your current sliding tethers will work with the new anchor.

Now I think we are on the same page. Thanks!
