iPad and Traqmate
I was messing around with an iPad and I wanted to try and get my Traqmate sessions to display on it.
So I began by creating and adhoc network on my windows laptop, and connecting the iPad to it. (This will also work if your laptop and iPad are connected to the same wi-fi network.)
Using the app 2XClient on the iPad I was able to create a RDP (remote desktop protocol) connection to my windows laptop.
Opened a session in Traqmate to view and bingo. The data runs pretty smoothly. But if you try including the video runs a bit choppy.
(Note: You still have to download your sessions and videos from your Traqmate and camera into your laptop.)

That is pretty cool though. I find however, that even with a 15.9" lap top, the screen still isn't tall enough to be able to se all the data (G2X) the way I want to.

The G loading trace when you are cornering shows a maximum in the beginning of the turn, with a stepped fall off as you continue through the corner. It is most evident in the 4 corners that I have circled. This is indicative of a car that is understeering. Where the car is neutral, the max G line stays pretty constant until you get to trackout.
Of course, I could be completely wrong.

The trace for oversteer would actually be a fairly flat line accentuated with small negative spikes for when the back of the car drifted and then recovered. The G load would drop for a moment, and then come right back to max each time.

I am guessing the answer would be 'no' but we'll see.

Three Wheelin'
^ Yes, esp when the Board has wizards like Larry H and Bob T about.
I recently learned rolling a corner and what it looks like ... I did a data review/coaching session with Bob and Larry at the Schattenbaum 2 day recently and it was fantastic. Highly recommended. Really objectifies both good and bad technique. Its one thing to hear what you are doing post fact; it is quite another to see it, esp when coupled to vid. Had a specific plan of attack for 'problematic' areas developed from same. Gained a good amount of time as a result. Great stuff!
