Default WTB Take Off/ Scrub Yoko (Patron) Slicks

I would like to buy a set if anyone has any laying around. I intend on buying some new ones, but given my blowout problems with slicks, I want to try a scrub set first. I think I found the answer to the problem but would like to try it on a NOT new set of tires.

If anyone has some, please send me a PM with a price.

Thanks

^^ Ditto. I've had two rears fail on track. A belt inside both broke and made for an interesting ride.

Trackside Performance, Yoko's exclusive North American racing distributor, has a warehouse full of slicks.

I don't intend on running them for long, I just want to see if my ABS goes crazy as the rears are reportedly too tall for 996's but several people have run them successfully.

Better off trying it on a used set, than buying a new set only to find out that the ABS is non compliant.

And I've run Yoko scrubs before with not problems.

The Patron's are good for at least 12 HC's so scrubs make a lot of sense for practice or testing. Yes they fall off after 3 or 4, but they're still good for awhile...

Some have ABS issues with them and some like me don't. I can't figure it out...

I can, the ABS issues happen for a few reasons, and also are correctable with a few options. ; )

Hey JR, your car looks even lower in that new picture ! Still too low IMHO....

I was expecting a comment from you. Hell it's only been up an hour.... I was just coming into the breaking zone off the banking at Cal Speedway. I brake hardest immediately and that's when the photog must have taken this shot. Love that my new CF-WC splitter is scrapping the track at 155 MPH. Maybe I should go back to the stiffer springs or put some bump back into the front Motons.....

PS: I'm turning as fast of laps at CS as ever, but my motor dyno'd at 256 down 16 from BW's Dynojet, and 26 from the one at Miller. I'm back to BW in 2 weeks so I'll dyno it again on their machine and hopefully I'll be back up in the 270's. I think the GT3 cup bumper, WC splitter, and Moton's must account for my lap times with less HP at CS. Obviously the aero is much improved....
