I' am very different than most on Rennlist....I watch and love NASCAR. I like all racing....I watch everything from NASCAR to F1 to FIA German Touring cars and even some NHRA. I can go to my local short track or drag strip and have a blast or to the Indy race in St.Petersburg FL and the PCA 48hrs race...they are all a blast and I enjoy them all and understand the different talents for each style.

I do not listen to 1 type of music....why should I like one type of racing?
no matter how great nascar drivers are (and no one objects that) I cannot force myself to sit over 150+ laps in the middle of this. DVR helps just fine to get first 20 laps and last 10. Even my wife enjoyed watching how daytona ended after she joined me watching about it 6 laps or so before finish. she would never watch whole thing, ever. makes a lot of a practical difference for me.

Ruin is right. NASCAR wants slower cars. Beat that?

NASCAR imposes new changes to reduce speed

The FIA has been taking much more drastic action over the years to slow Formula 1 cars ... to little to no avail.
The teams' engineers and aerodynamicists keep improving the car in spite of the FIA's intentions. Pretty impressive.

Your right. Tintop cars like NECKCAR can take a lot of hits from full beer cans. Open wheelers can't. Fvcking pussies what's up with them canceling a race?!?!?....
