I've been wanting to get Dave to do some coaching for me, but waiting for the restraining order against him to expire.

Seriously, I know several folks who have benefitted greatly from having Dave coach them. I've had him in my right hand seat a few times and it has always been very beneficial to me in finding those 10th of seconds hiding under the couch cushions.

Kudos to VR. I'm considering doing this with the Radical, soon!
I just bought a radical SR-3 1500, how do like yours? Are you a Spring Mountain Member?

Another satisfied customer here. We had more of a 1 off fun day on track while I was on vacation but I'd be happy to recommend Dave also.

Can you just clarify "the new coast". May I assume that this refers to the recent topic of 'rolling' into/through a corner and carrying more mid corner speed? As you say, the feeling is more of a momentum corner.

Default Kerr's Racing Camp

I stopped by the Kerr Camp on Saturday to say hi to my racing buds and also had the pleasure of meeting Dave - I'm glad he was such a great help. Now it'll be that much harder to keep up wit you characters... see you at the 48 hours in a couple of weeks. I'll be in the new RSR

Tom, WOW!!!! I am so happy and excited for you. As you know I just do DE's...yep I'm the lowly DE around here it seems.... and recently hired Chris Hall to coach me and the same thing happened... an easy 2 seconds came off...actually more like 3 seconds for me. I still have a ways to go as Mr. Hall is 3 seconds faster than me.

So the only mods for me this year is more coaching. I love it, it's great fun to learn. Veloce Raptor is an awesome coach I hear and you just recomfirmed this! My goal this year is to learn from a few different coaches mainly Chris Hall, Dave Scott, Seth Thomas and David Tuaty.

I HIGHLY recomend any of us on these forums that either DE or Race to hire a professional coach!

I think professional coaching is a great idea.....& I hope to take advantage of it one day in the future when my budget allows it..... I also LOVE the momentum car theory regardless of your HP......I do think the best way to become an excellent driver is to learn how to drive a slow car FAST.....since you don't have the loud pedal to make up for your mistakes!!!

Congrats on your 2 second improvement!!!!! I would LOVE to find 2 seconds in my racer.....I think its there....just need to coax it out!!!

I had Dave in my right seat for all of 4 corners and my freaking tire blew out (no spares). Now I gotta make up for it. I'll take 2 seconds any day (or weekend).

Mine's a lowly SR3/1300. Still learning to drive it, it's a blast.
I've only done their Radical school, a while back. My car will be for DE, and several tracks in Texas.
Thinking of joining MSR Houston:

Dave Perkins over at SRS has experience with Radicals, and I could keep it there:
