Easy track to learn- impossible to master. Have a good body shop ? No room for error. You'll learn how lucky you really are.!! Save some money now for the local accomodations. Bring your own food. and rain gear. It was my home track for many years.
DE muffled- new stricter noise restrictions I believe.

Yo Bela,

How certain are you? After our conversation with Dan J a few weeks ago, I was under the impression that "unmuffled" was a no-go.

I don't know about the DE. The last we heard, the race was unmuffled.

Ok, no way I'm going to go through the hastle of adding mufflers to my car for one DE day. I don't think I'll pass with these:

Is the CVR DE "porsche only"? A buddy and I were thinking about sharing his spec miata to run in the DE on that Thursday to get familiar with the track before the race weekend. Pretty easy to throw the stock mufflers back on that car.

Last year's DE was definitely muffled as I got black flagged twice for noise violations at the DE.

I would not do the DE again if it is muffled as there were many people who were getting hit for sound violations. If you decide you do want to do the DE, don't go flat out down the front straight as that's where the sound checkers usually (not always though) sit.
