There is an ice-racing championship here in Quebec. Google "course sur glace" perhaps.

I did a 6 hour enduro on a lake in Wiscasset Maine a few years ago. What a ball. Get an old junker with a heater and radio and go racing. You will not believe how much fun you'll have (leave the Porsche in the garage!). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b7ePJWILuI

So, Fred, any hints on the paint scheme?

Dan, does your avitar mean that you bought Haywood Jablomy?

Like Jerry said
Move to Maine, insert roofing nails into the tires, and go for it.
Think of how much money you will save.
Oh, and buy some warm clothes. Way more than you needed in the south of Italy.

Boston, do not use your race car for ice racing. Those snow banks might look soft but they are nearly as rigid as guard rails. Ask me how I know.

I'd be interested in paying for a seat in an enduro at least once this winter...
