I had never heard of them or used them before but they were extremely helpful in getting me a used part today that no one seemed to have in the US. If he didn't have it then the weekend at Sebring would have been spoiled. I think they mostly focus on gearboxes etc. Roger was a good guy. No relation just thought I would pass on a good experience.

Bobby Hart at California Motorsports is really one of the top gearbox specialists in the country. You hear Brian Copans mentioned all the time for the Cup Car stuff while Bobby quietly does his thing in the background keeping dozens of PCA and POC racers going. He can rebuild pretty much any gearbox Porsche has ever made. He was also one of the first guys in the country to service the 996/986 press fit gearboxes that have 2nd gear popout issues. That gearbox is one of his specialties.
Also, more recently, they have moved into manufacturing of certain specialty parts that are really nice pieces. They are now doing things like sidecovers, billet forks, custom shifters, etc. etc. that are sold by a couple of Rennlist vendors, including Pelican Parts.
