Cool dash Gary, hope it fits without too much work. Anything I ever got from GT Racing (bumpers) has required 5x the work of Getty or Shaw parts.

I'll let you know how it goes Gary. All the fiber glass parts needed for the project came from several diferent shops depending upon availability.
The one part that was hard to source but is resolved now was the lexan windscreen, which is supposed to be here any day now.

Fortunately with the entire old dash gone there's not much left to cut around.
The dash bar was installed today, this will privide a place to mount the brackets needed for the dash. A little trimming around the steering column is needed so the dash can sit better.

Noel said they would weld mounting tabs to the dash bar as well as an aluminum backing plate underneath by the windscreen. It will also be painted flat black to loose the shine.

Really looks good Gary, and as the last time I saw you your car was in an "unhappy" position at the Glen i'm sure your take safety very seriously.

Oh yeah! After being trapped in the car up side down for what seemed like a long time I decided no more insufficent cages. My helmet had 7 separate fractures in it from where the roof caved in. Thank god my seat was set as low as possible and I'm not that tall.

That cage looks more than adequate, and either way i'm sure we won't be seeing you heading down through the carousel at the Glen upside down with your brake lights on anymore...

100% agree on that, ever since then if my tyres got too hot and started to slip away I've slowed the hell down!

Default No baffle pan

We will be installing a baffle pan, which was a bit off a surprise as I thought a John Milledge engine came with one.

Default Gutted door

The doors are gutted, everything removed except the door bar.
Holes were drilled along the bottom of the doors for a little extra weight savings

Mirror removed ready to be replaced with more aerodynamic ones
