Greg was a close friend, and rabble rouser.
He survived a liver transplant, and later beat leukemia.
When i visited him a week ago, i honestly thought he may pull it off.
He was a true Warrior- the Good Stuff.
See you guys Wednesday in KC to send him on his way

I did not notice this thread until now. Greg was a calming and fatherly figure many of us (including me) looked up to when I went to the track (termed "Track Dad"). He was always there to talk to and help you on or off the track. Being at the track is stressful and Greg could somehow sense it and help calm you down. He will be sorely missed and never replaced. I do hope our Track Mom (Kathy) will still make some events with us next year.
