Default "instructional" video for The Glen?

I will be at the Glen for the first time next week with Niagra PCA. Does anyone have a good video for an intro to the track?
I want to be able to win my first session so that I can get advanced to the fastest run group as soon as possible.
My son is joining me and sharing the car, - his first DE. There is still time left to talk me out of this. (I sent him the "Flat Out" video, as required viewing.) Perhaps I can get him hooked up with an instructor skilled at Humility Training.
Looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Perhaps we can enjoy a frosty beverage at the lodge.

^ Dr Jupeman is a phenomenal and fast driver. Don't try to imitate him though...

Here's a vid for us mortals that I review each time before I go to the Glen:

Thanks for the links. True, I am not going to try to imitate Dr. Jupeman. Nor Larry, for that matter. I no longer drive Flat Out. Anyone have a "training" video with perhaps some commentary along the route?

You can always borrow someones copy of Brock Yates "Speed secrets at the Glen"; a great way to learn how to drive 2:35s.

It does go through a decent turn by turn commentary though.

There was a really good instructional video of Northeast tracks including Watkins Glen; my mechanic was the driver/narrator of the WGI section (Paul Tosi, a very successful Firehawk driver back in the day).
I always got a kick out of his description of Turn 5 (Turn in Verrrry prooooogresivvvvvely) (still use it with my students).
I doubt that it is still available new but you could try to find a used version. Last mention I saw of it was on Pelican Parts forum (in 2001!) 'Performance Video which had about 15 minutes of in-car footage from a Kelly-Moss 944S2 and a voice over by Paul Tosi. The copy that I have was distributed by Norm Mark - Raceware, 18 Danville Road, Plaistow, NH 03865, 1-603-425-9666.'
I should dig mine out and see if it still makes sense. Paul was a terrific driver and would make a great coach if he had time.

Is that the one with some good footage of old races on the original track tossed in? It's fine for someone that has never run there. Tell your son to join iRacing, get Watkins Glen, and run it in a Skippy car for 100 laps. He will be quite familiar with the layout by then..

+1 For iracing.com

I can't get a feel for a track at all by watching videos.

You don't apex tight on carousel either. Is that by design?

When we went to the Glen, we searched all over for videos. When we arrived, the organization freaking gave us this awesome DVD (too late, obviously). I think it was like "Speed Secrets" maybe?? Anyway, it was outstanding.

Jeez, now I see why you and Bob Scoto go by me so fast.
Most videos look kind of slow; not this one!
Got one for me for Thunderbolt? I need some inspiration.
