Lost a friend today
I understand that this is an international forum, but for those of you from Metro NY area, after a long bout with cancer, I lost my friend Bob Szczesny today.
Bob was an instructor with NNJR/PCA and the BMWCCA.
As tough as he was, he was also fair and a loving husband and father.
He will be missed.
For those of you who wish to attend the service, please e-mail me of post.
When are we EVER going to defeat this God-Damned disease?

Not knowing Bob, it is still saddening to hear about it. We know that a much cared for Rennlister in TX passed away some months ago as well. Cancer is something that touches all of our lives in some way; either an aquaintence, a friend, a family member or even ourselves. The best thing that we can do is to give to help science find a cure.

I'm sorry for your and his family's loss. I lost my mother to cancer. She was 57.

When the cure is more profitable than treatment. I guess that is never. Not in US anyway.
What was the last disease that was cured? Polio?

Months later, I'm still getting over losing my good friend Steve. I can surely empathize with how you must be feeling. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear about you friend. I didn't know him but anyone who gives back by instructing deserve recognition here for their generosity. My condolences to his family. RIP Bob.
