i am leaving from here.
last year i would be cocky, now as i burned down 5 sets of r-comps, believe me, i know my limits. all i need now is seat time and no forums.
hopefully i will get a chance to work on it this season, if not, next season will come...
no hard feelings.

Ok. I keep thinking the OP is still looking for help but just can't stop putting his foot in his mouth... I'd say posting up spins shows some humility...
Sooooooo....... that looks like an airport autox... fast autox, more like a speed trial really. not too unlike a race track.
1st spin, the left hander, at 0:18 looks like a sweeper and you enter way too hot, The other spin at 1:03. again, to hot. not looking ahead. or maybe you're just lost on the course... easy to do at the autox. but what you really want is, slow in, fast out. even there. brake earlier, turn and gas all the way thru the turn..
like I said earlier, you learn bad habits at the autox, you're driving like its street driving, attacking the apex, full gas, full brake. throwing the car.
Track driving needs much different skills, patience #1.
What seems slow at first... is actually faster smoother, and safer.
do some more autox's
try to be smooth with the brake and gas. and keep looking ahead.
and post more video!

It was all the instructors fault for faster drivers having to camp out behind him for 2 laps?!
She clearly is an excellent and saintly patient instructor, as OP is able to repeat his practices another DE race.
The poor woman had to suffer 2 days in the modified, performance enhanced car with Mr. "I spin overy other week to practice" and somehow keeps OP and everyone else alive, even incident free the entire weekend, yet he throws her under the bus.

Now as of you not passing me - same thing, it was not my priority to see you, however bad it sounds, especially on a first day and i simply did not physically see much of any traffic around me on Monday at all as all i was able to do was to see approaching corners and work on keeping the line. on second day i was able to see traffic much better and give signals in passing zones.
i was told to ignore my mirrors completely and instructor was in charge of telling me when to give a passing signal so if you had to sit behind me to almost 2 laps - that was most likely her decision and you had to sit there and not to try hit my rear bumper constantly taking away that little concentration that i did have.
