Default LRP ALMS photo thread

Some photos from set-up for ALMS weekend at LRP. Apologies for the crappy picture quality but my low-tech camera was not liking the extreme heat and humidity.

Thanks for sharing. I didnt' realize you could walk into the tents to check the cars out. Next year I won't be so shy!

GT & GTC entries. All the 911s were running Brembos, including the GMG car. Interesting.

Not sure that you can during race weekend. This was middle of the week so everything was a lot more low-key.

Nice - thanks for posting. I am now finally watching DVR of the Lime Rock race - exciting/a lot of action in this one! Also good to see Pappas and Papadopoulos doing well so far (gotta root for those w/Hellenic roots, like me).

Looking forward to attending my first ALMS race at Road America in a few weeks...also the Porscheplatz.

Again, thanks for the nice closeups of the cars. I was there on Friday for practice/qualifying and it was raining for most of the day making hard to take photos without worrying about shorting out my camera.

I hope it's OK to link to an external site. Here are my snapshots of the Friday session.

Gotcha, you must've been there on Wednesday with my CVR buddies doing the DE while the ALMS guys were setting up. I heard the thunder and lightning storm that came in during the afternoon was something to see!

I was and it was. Dropped a good sized tree on the tractors next to Skip Barber's building. Fun day regardless of the weather calling the party early.
