Just an FYI for anyone looking for Moton mounting options - lightweight aluminum clamps rather than zip ties. A friend of mine did these up for me. I know there are a few aftermarket options, but these are well done .

Those mounts look very "Trick". I used hose clamps which have worked quite well during the 2 years they've been in place.

I have been looking for something like this for my JRZs and called TPC just on Friday to see if they had something like this and they said only to use zip ties because the cannisters expand and contract....(?).

Wow very nice, I looked for something similar when I installed mine, but ended up going with big black zip ties... works alright not as nice looking as what you have there.
I believe that's an option, one I wish I would have gone with. Maybe when I service mine I'll have it done.

The cans apparently do expand & contract a bit, but the ends that are clamped are thicker and reinforced, allowing the thinner center of the cans to move. If you look at the first pic, far left lower hoop, you'll see a 'tongue' machined in the clamp to sit in the 'groove' on both ends of the Moton cans.

Dry breaks are an option, I had them installed by the thankfully local Canadian Moton distributor. I will try my best to keep everything clean up to your exacting standards.

I used zips for a while, but things always shifted and it was a PITA to adjust canister pressures .

I can tell you from recent experience that plastic cable ties will not hold the reservoirs in place if you experience a significant impact. My rears were mounted on the cage's rear/side members and both broke free, although they remained tethered to the tubing.
I would definitely band-clamp them or use mounts like the ones offered here, at least for anything mounted in the passenger compartment.

FWIW, they don't fit the Moton Motorsport canisters. Got mine in the mail today and they're not even close. I'm going to ask Mitch Piper if he can enlarge the holes, if not I'll have four clamps for sale.
