I wouldn't say that. Contact in amateur racing is frowned upon at all levels. No doubt you'll have more contact at a Spec Miata (SCCA or NASA) tussle than in a Vintage Racing event, but I do not think NASA has (or wants) the reputation of allowing more contact.

Jacklee . . . you get more bees with honey than with vinegar. You have here before you hundreds of compiled years of racers and DE-goers, not to mention instructors. I am one of all of the above, for about ten years or so now. Why would you want to burn bridges like this? If you truly want advice, tone it down. If you continue to harass folks in this manor, you'll be taking a time out.

One thing I have learned over the years . . . when I first started driving / racing, I thought I knew everything and my mouth would go on and on. Now that I DO know SOMETHING, I tend not to speak as much. You'll get a whole lot more advice if you just sit back and let these kind people help you out in your motorsports career.

I'm with you buddy. All these guys are just stalling because they don't want to give away any secrets, but I can tell you one person you really need to look up or PM (that's Private Message in Spanglish) because he has never lost a DE.

His name is A. Wayne. Do a search for him. He knows A LOT and is not afraid to share what he knows with everyone on Rennlist.
