I'm not so sure. If their F-duct worked properly, why not leave it on for the race? I'm guessing the design did not provide the desired results and they went back to the drawing board.

I think that is what he is saying. They test and tuned them during Friday practice but decided not to use them. With 2 weeks before the next GP and the fact McLaren is right under their rear wing, I think we will see the F-Ducts on the Red Bulls for Friday practice again. Whether they run them for Sat. and Sun. will have to be determined.

I'm anxious to see how the Red Bull drivers fair. This should be interesting.

My pick is Webber with an F'Duct. Hamilton if RB doesn't run an F-Duct.

I agree the McLarens are showing a lot of pace. Could be the cars to beat next week.
Webber willl be a man on a mission.
He's my pick for that reason alone.
I want him to show that little german bitch of a "teammate" what he's got.

With a strong Q3 and a good start, it could be Button's day.

Button has yet to prove he is quicker than Hamilton in clear weather conditions. I doubt Button will ever get a pole at McLaren.

The qualifying score at McLaren is HAM - 4 vs. BUT - 3. Conditions may have played a role in Button's three times out-qualifying Hamilton, but we don't know if CAN will be clear conditions. After last week, all-out speed may be nudged over by tire and fuel management.

I wonder if anyone will drop off the list for CAN? The buzzards seem to be circling over De La Rosa and Senna this week. I hear Jacques V. is looking to make a comeback ;-)

Senna has consistently outperformed his teamate. As such, if your assertion proves true, his elimination would surprise me.

I'll say that Hamilton will add another win to his collection. RB's are looking a bit on the ragged side these days. What has happened to Ferrari?

Hard to say, since mechanical failures have played such a big part in the race results. I'm only basing my comment on what is being written about possible driver changes, not my own assessment of their performance.

Button FTW

The front end of the McLarens have so much grip... they seemed way better on turn-in compared to the RBR cars in Turkey. I believe the extra front-end grip will pay dividends in Canada combined with the F-Duct...Regardless of qualifying, the overtaking of the McLarens will be tremendous...

Why Button and not Hamilton... No reason, I just prefer Button...

(Exclaimer: According to A. Wayne, I know nothing about F1, so please see this for what it is. Just an opinion in a chaotic sport.)

Please , i only asked you to quantify your statements, you have not and or cannot, This makes you an amigo, i will use my great contact powers and have ITC push thru your nomination.

Caveat :

Apart from being clueless! Watch out for Pete, after having milky he can be very cantankerous, ITC only votes for Sato , Ray won't give you his WDC pick until race 6 and larry is OK , well , depends on the Scotch that week and ohh, don't quote him , he gets real prissy if you do .

Welcome amigo ........

Anyway Ray I used to see you in Road America, I have relocated to NYC since January and brought the Pcar with me. Does not yet a lot of driving time and have not gotten a chance to hook up with PCA of the region here for track days. So decided to drive up to Montreal with my fiancé Saturday to see the race and have a nice drive.

Last minute I got tickets in section 33 any good?

Any PCA party or tent?

See you guys there
