I can' see the green flag in the Boxster video but.................
Looks like most cars came around the last turn, squeezed the throttle and just went, stringing the field out. The boxer was out of position being too far back from the P2 car, although he seemed to be at a more typical start pace, however, he didn't control the start. The leaders apeared to be accelerating, but not at the pace of the black #182 who launches out of view and up a row shortly after the final turn. The black #182 obviously got on FT very early and carried momentum through the start and towards T1.
The red car clearly defended, did not turn-in, but it was too little and too late. The #182 late braked very effectively and got squeezed. Good situational awareness by #372 to avoided any contact.
Poor starts don't get penalized, although they can adversly affect lots of others.
Jumped starts deserve to be penalized. If this were a pro race body with tons of film and starters Ithey would issue a stop and go to the #182. Amateuer racing nothing happens.
