And I was unaware of all of that. As I posted earlier in this thread, I saw some unusual construction activity near Birds Nest recently on final approach into Bergstrom.

More unusual than constructing a 6000' runway and taxiway, an aircraft parking area, and an entrance road to replace the dirt one off Fuchs Grove?

How many times are you going to whine when you don't get your way?

Where do you see me whining?

Why do you get defensive every single time someone is suspect of something you say?

We've heard multiple times where there is going to be announcement. Finally it looks like one is going to happen with what that article says. You should understand our skepticism. Especially considering that at least one of your posts was just an airport being rebuilt.

Do you guys in Austin read the local news??? The Statesman pegged the location over a month ago:
http://www.statesman.com/business/in...-a-770105.html

Even a gadget site picked up the scent in June...

The inside scoop award here goes to ...

Is the Hill Country PCA going to work on securing ticket blocks on behalf of the rest of us??? C'mon guys, the biggest auto sport on the planet is coming to your backyard! Are you in the game, or what?

Nay-sayers: time to eat crow.
I'll bet that you can pick some up at Wild Bubba's Wild Game Grill when you come to Elroy for the USGP!

The two most widely talked about locations seem to be

1) http://maps.google.com/maps?q=30.193...QSou-g&split=0

2) http://maps.google.com/maps?q=30.139...7ysu-g&split=0

Both within spitting distance of each other. Either way a win for Austin and the USA. Austin already is my most frequent business destination to visit my HQ, so thrilled all around.

If this facility is truly top notch, yes, as well as Grand Am.
