LSRPCA 1-2May2010 DE
There are about a dozen spots left in white as of now and the other groups are reaching capacity. Early May weather is usually nice in southeast Texas, so we should be in for a good time. For a change this time, I propose being especially nice to the registrar.

Big delimma. I may not make it to an LSR event for a while...
I thought that my college-bound daughter would choose A&M, and that she and I would be doing LSR DE's together on a regular basis.
In a stunning reversal, she's chosen my alma mater LSU. And just 2 days before the LSR club race last month, she passed her audition for the LSU Marching Band for the 2010 year.
OMG... Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium IS college football, and the LSU band is as beloved as the team itself. I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it...
Between the outrageous season ticket prices, and the travel grind to watch my baby help make millions of hairs stand on end, I've got to seriously re-think my weekend travel/spending priorities - like selling the GT3 to buy an RV for tailgating.
You won't get it if you've never been to a game in Death Valley, or seen the band that won ESPN's 2008 battle of the bands... but if you think I'm crazy, just watch this up through the 2 minute mark, or so...

If you get a RV you can trailer it to TWS and save $50/night at the Manor Ho.
My daughter wants to go to A&M as well but we are still a couple years away. I told her I'd get her a boxster to drive with me if she did. It would still be cheaper than private school.

I'll only be there for Sunday. I'm speaking at a conference on Saturday. I tried to get them to move the conference date, but strangely enough they didn't consider an LSRPCA DE a good enough reason.
I'm trying to decide which Evo to bring. Yes, I bought another Evo--a 2006 IX MR. I'm sick, I know. I'll never get a Porsche at this rate... but, my gosh, these Evos are just too much fun...
