I'll be there Friday - Sunday with my new engine after it blowing the last TWS open track day. New set of nittos on a new set of track wheels, should be a damn good weekend. Rain rain stay away.

if we run out of propane at the Burger trailer
we can just lay them on the ground and I can go over them once or twice - flame broiled

I've been to TWS three times now, all counter clockwise. Anyone care to share any wisdom on going the other way? With the wider entry onto the front straight and much tighter turn at the end, it seems like 15 should be "interesting." Are there other places were extra caution might be warranted?

Hey Paul, I parked the 911. Got a pretty nice 944t to play with. Its a dedicated track car and is currently classed PCA stock f, so when the time comes I'll be ready to slide a little further down the slope. Its a ways out still, but as my skills improve and my track time increases I could see myself testing the racing waters.
Gotta learn how to drive a car with the engine in the front now.
Come check it out, garage 37, silver with and orange belly wrap. See ya!

For those wondering about bringing rain tires this weekend, the forecast seems to be changing a bit.
First, the good news: It looks like a front will push through reducing Saturday's oppressive humidity to merely uncomfortable on Sunday.
Now the bad news: It looks like a front will push through bringing with it a chance of potentially severe weather. Right now, the front is looking like hitting late afternoon to early evening Saturday, but they're hard to predict this time of year.
As for your rain tires, you'll probably be OK if you're willing to, at worst, pass on Saturday's final run. Alternatively, we could all pile into Mike's car and see how he earned his nickname.
