Dan Aspesis did one sub :44 lap last summer at 1:43:6x, the rest of his laps were 1:44:1 something. Back in 07' when they ran Hankooks, Shaun Howard turned a 1:42:9x against Craig Stanton who turned a 1:41:9x, again they were on Hankooks which are like R6's if not faster. Stanton's car was not class legal ...

i think dave turned 1:45 on his FIRST outing on his BSR.
and i am pretty sure he can turn 1:42. he's usually 2 seconds faster than me.
