I don't know Red Line oils, but you don't want a real race oil for a DD. Real race oils are missing many of the detergents and other additives that make oil last a long time without going acidic, breaking down, etc.

I used the racing oil in my race only car. I am not sure how I could measure its performance. I did my research before hand and felt like the benefits were worth the extra cost. I then heard the trend of some race shops was to go back to dino oils so...who knows.

For the street/DE you can use Redline 5w40 or 10w40. Their race oil is a straight weight with little or no detergent and would need to be changed fairly often. I have been using Redline 10w40 for years in both street and race cars. It is a very good oil for my applications.

You might blow your warranty with race oil.

I use Redline and use the Red Line Synthetic for above mentioned reason.
