Does USF1ASCO have their cars ready?

AFAIK, they already stated they are skipping the first 3 races and have asked for FIA dispensation to skip the 4th race and still remain in F1.
Bernie and the FIA were apparently sold a bill of goods....an all American F1 team, running out of one of the largest world markets...everyone saw sponsorship $ and revenue $, perhaps even getting an F1 race back in the US...
Instead, they got, well....
Too bad, it was a great idea, but the minute I saw the shops/facilities, I knew it was just a paper tiger.

You guys are behind on your F1 news. USF1 has asked the FIA to defer their spot on the grid until the 2011 season. They are offering to put up a multi-million dollar "bond" to show their intent to participate next season.

There are teams waiting to enter F1 at last check, give them the entry and if they fail, give it to the next team in line.

I'm smelling a scam. Could PW be bilking "investors/sponsors, Argentine govt" out of millions of dollars on the prospect of an F1 team -- a team from all we've seen hasn't produced squat and has a shell of a company?

Lopez is already out of his contract with USF1 and they are trying to get the $800K+ they fronted to the team back. Lopez is supposedly eyeing a reserve driver roll with Campos.
Stephan may get USF1's spot on the grid with JV and some unknown.
