Stephan may get USF1's spot on the grid with JV and some unknown.

There may be the cause for more fireworks....I doubt that USF1 has the money to write the refund check...

Me too, I really liked the whole group of them, they worked well together and for me even their voices became part of the F1 weekend experiences. I'm a little worried it might be ruined with new characters.

+1

I thought the rest of the are staying though which is good.

The combo of the three works well, I like Varsha but especially Matchett's technical knowledge and Hobb's, well, "Hobbsism" work well!

Yeah, I think the rest of them are staying, but it only takes one to screw it up. May not even be a bad guy, but might just not fit. May just take some getting used to.

I agree. Although I really liked Townsend Bell's input when he sat in for Hobbs. I wish they would add someone like him (some experience in modern F1 cars) to the F1 Debrief show. It would add a different perspective to the debrief, right now it's just a summary delivered by the same guys who called the race so I never watch it.

Peter Windsor's job on Speed doesn't seem like an easy one. He basically had to bother people who didn't want to talk to him moments before battle, or drivers after they have crashed/broke and are pissed off, and try get some interesting live comments from them. I wonder how the new guy will do considering he is only 29 and doesn't have the F1 history and relationships Windsor had.

According to Autoweek in today's Fast Alert...

"Ken Anderson had the production manager (David Skog) tell the employees that they effectively no longer have jobs" Tuesday afternoon.

"Anderson didn't even have the guts to do it himself" said the senior employee.

Autosport is saying USF1 is done, at least for this year. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/81820

USFloles.

So will they try and reconstitute the team.
Not sure what they have accomplished so far that can be used to build on.
They did pass the nose cone crash test for the current F1 specs, right?

Speculation was they passed the nose cone crash by overbuilding it (heavy), but failed the sidepod monocoque incursion.

So do they like have like a fancy logo they can pass on.
Wonder how well they could have done with the arcane art of F1 aerodynamics.

And Anderson talks about 2011? Like anyone will listen to him now... the whole mess is rather embarrassing for American F1 fans- I'm sure the Europeans are laughing their "*****" off at us right now...

It does make Paul Minardi's return to F1 seem like a good idea; although personally I'd like to see Eddie Jordan back in the paddock.
