02/02/10 at 8AM forecast on Bay News 9 was listing Friday rain chance at 70%, including chance of thunderstorms. Other days still looked pretty similar, with Saturday looking to be in the mid-upper 60's instead of low 70's. Who knows??? Even Punxsutawney Phil only gets it right 39% of the time...

You guys better give us updates, for those not making the trip this year.

The BEST updates come from the hotel, after a few martinis at the Elan.

It'll be late-night martinis at the Elan though with all the night driving!

It was a VERY late night getting the rigs in the padock. Audi was testing the R10 along some red Italian thing, WAY COOL, and they didnt release the track until about 9pm. Tremper and I were last in line and got through the gate around 11. Back at the room around 1am. Weather looks great, partly sunny today high around 75, same tomorrow high around 80 then the weekend is sunny high around 65. We have a small army, about 10, of spec Boxsters all padocked together. Home base for the weekend is compliments of Patron. We're using their hauler/drivers lounge and we're set up across from the TRG camp.

Wish you were here!!

Dan,

What fun is it to escape the Northeast cold for 4 days of day and night time racing on a historic track? Who wants to have day time high temps in the 60's and lows in the upper 40's? I'd rather be home in NJ preparing for another bout of cold and snow....

I won't miss Sebring in 2011. Bad enough that I skipped it this year, big mistake.
