Do you actually camp in the infield. Scuze my noob questions. I went to Daytona in June once and got the tram while they prepped the IROC cars for the final run tour. Never seen a real race there.

I've never camped there so I can't speak to the particulars, but yes you can camp in the infield.

I went to both season opening events this year. I would recommend Sebring if I had to pick one. They both offer something, but Sebring just has more of it.
