I just moved live North of you in CT. I have an ATC open trailer and have been looking for storage. Everyone in Fairfield County is quoting me about $150 - $175 per month. Right now it sits in my driveway. Wife is also not happy.

Let me know if you come across anything below $100 in Fairfield County.

LOL, everybody was admiring or making fun of me this weekend when I showed up with my big rig. Suggestions went from, "need a back up beeb, beeb, beeb", to needing a sticker with "Not for Hire".

But it pulls like a dream, don't even realize it's back there at 80 miles an hour, and now I can finally have a spare set of tires at the track.

Don't discount the right steel trailer either. I pull an open pit (no floor similar to the trailex) texas bragg trailer, heavier than a trailex, but lighter than a solid featherlite. One of the best towing trailers I have pulled. Before I had the truck, I use to pull it behind the Jeep without any issues at all with a 951 on it. Nice thing about an open pit trailer, is that if you need to do something under the car at the track, you can just pull it up on the trailer, and you have an instant lift Best $300 i have spent. Put on new LED lighting and apply a couple of cans of undercoating once a year and it looks fine. Of course, I pay $50 a month to store a $300 trailer, lol.

My car is at RSR height and I can load it without scraping the front air dam.
Bob -- give him a price on your trailer. I'll be driving to CT on 1/23 to go pick up my new trailer and I'm not hauling anything up there so I could take it.

Here's my new one:

See if you can find a cheap used steel trailer. Aluminum is nice but I don't think its worth the extra $$$ sometimes. You can get a good used steel trailer for $1500 if you keep your eyes open

Here's mine, picked it up from another rennlister actually

I have a friend with one of their open trailers. Nice that it has a solid floor and sits low. Does not need those big long ramps that my Trailex has.

It's open, I need to be able to tow 2 cars. We'll be camping in there though at events. No more tents It doesn't have AC, yet.....

It was posted on the Internet. It's a good time to up-size because almost everyone is downsizing.

a light weight aluminum like Trailex is nice for towing but even nicer because you can horse it around by hand. I have a Trailex CT-7541 weighs weight ~850# I can move it around on the flats by myself fairly easily.

Down side of Trailex is the bed is a bit further off the ground than some others so the stock ramps need extension on low cars w/ aggressive spoilers, Race ramps or 2x12s work well.
