We are probably going to sell our 1984 Porsche 911 "Kermit"

The car is the current track record holder for ST2 at PIR with a 1:05.7. I won the 2007 AZ-region ST2 championship and won virtually every race I entered in ST2 in both Arizona and SoCal.

The motor made 237 RWHP on a dyno jet a couple of years ago. Today we dynoed it at Evo Motorsports on their mustang dyno and it pulled over 260 in the cool weather. I think their dyno is a little optimistic, but the engine is healthy. Recent compression and leakdown test all normal.

Has new brake pads, recent oil change, ready to go!

The body has wear and tear from racing, some chips etc, but it looks good out on track!

Thanks. Everyone in AZ region runs in performance touring and super touring to have max car counts in each class...

In any region any car can run Super Touring.

The picture was done by a local track photographer, not sure how exactly with the effects.

I ran ST2 at the last VIR race I did. Had more competitors. Just had to add a little weight. (my old GTB car)

You can run whatever class your car fits into. No one will force you to run GTS just because you have a German car.

I really enjoyed watching your video. You sure know how to hustle that car around the track!! Looks like a great car for anyone wanting to learn the art of driving an "old school" 911 on the track. My 911 race car is built on a '77 chassis with 930 running gear and I absolutely love the experience of racing a light weight, old school 911.

By the way, what are those adjustable rod ends that appear to connect from the front of the roll cage to the shock towers. Are those actually tied into the two bolts that hold the top of each shock so that you can lock in the camber settings so they don't move? Or, are they for some other purpose?

Thanks. Note that the cup car and viper are higher class cars, but we're all friends and like to dice!

The rod ends on the cage are tied to the camber plates. They have left and right hand thread and you use them like a turnbuckle to adjust camber.

We will entertain offers on the car. I won't be insulted, the worst that will happen is I'll say no thanks, not enough $$ :-)

I was wondering about that. You were making up massive amounts of time under braking and in the corners. Very cool.

That is a good idea. That type of setup not only locks in the camber so it doesn't slip during a race, it also enables you to make fine, controlled adjustments by turning the turn-buckles as opposed to the rest of us who have to tap the top of the shock with a hammer or some such thing. I wish I would have thought of that when I was having my cage re-worked in 2009. I guess I will save that for the next time around.

This car has lots of neat little things like that on it - it's a great buy for someone!

It surprises a lot of cup cars and is VERY low maintenance. Brakes/tires...etc all last quite a long time due to the lightweight and oversized components.
