Autometrics Motorsports Plans for 2010
Autometrics Motorsports is returning to IMSA, supporting cars in the Patron GT3 Challenge and competing with our 2009 Grand-Am spec GT3 Cup in the ALMS GTC category, which will include the Sebring 12-Hour and Petit LeMans this season.
We’re going to kick off the 2010 season running the Grand-Am Rolex 24-Hours at Daytona. Our 2009 Rolex 24 effort was looking very strong, qualifying 3rd on the GT grid, until crash damage took its toll. With our newer, faster 2009 model GT3 Cup, we hope to repeat our qualifying performance and maintain that speed through the end of the race.
We currently have driver opportunities available in all of these events and can assist in getting a new 2010 model GT3 Cup.
As always, we will continue to fully support PCA Club Racing on the East Coast and at select races across the country.
Our team has enjoyed multiple podium finishes within our many years of experience participating in the IMSA, Grand-Am, PCA, SCCA and NASA series. Autometrics Motorsports is the premier “arrive and drive” team on the East Coast for Porsche Club Racing. Services include ground-up track conversions, race prep, storage, transportation, track-side service and support, and engine and transmission overhauls including GT3 Cup, RSR and sequential. Autometrics Motorsports finished 3rd in the 2005 Grand-AM GT Team Championship and 2nd in the 2006 Koni/Continental GS Championship working with Marcus Motorsports. We have campaigned cars at the Rolex 24 since 2001. Our drivers hold more PCA and NASA track records than we can keep track of.
If you have interest in running in any of these events or series or becoming a sponsor partner, please contact Gordon Friedman (843) 763-7356, (843) 697-9911 mobile or gordon@autometricsmotorsports.com

I just did the Roebling Road Porsche Club Race and Autometrics was one of the sponsors. They had quite an impressive set up there. As a "northerner" it was my 1st experience seeing them at the track and I appreciated their support for the Florida Crown Region and the Club race. Nice group of guys!

Good luck to Autometrics in 2010! Great group of guys, I too did the Roebling Road Porsche Club Race and they saved my rookie bacon by helping me with a window net, can't thank them enough!!

I hope I will have the opportunity to drive in all of the longer (3+ driver) races and at least a few of the shorter races.
I'm sure I will be doing a few PCA races as well.
Thanks for all the positive responses!
