I'm very proud of the Mercer Motorsports team and everyone that supported them.

Nice to see a 911 take the overall again at the 25!

That Gorriaran guy in the Miata who did the entire race solo and won his class is a beast.

Here's an interview with him:

Here's a video of an exciting moment during my 2nd stint, at around 5AM.

One more short video clip here, showing how our race for the win ended when our LR hub failed in T5.

David - great pics. You captured my son in the crew of the Ehret Winery car pushing it back - can I send it a few places ?

Wow, sorry for the bad luck. It made for some great footage though.

Great meeting you with CJ

Hey Guys,
Heres our story of running my 70 Spec 911 in the event. www.tmr25hours.blogspot.com
Oldest car in the field. We were pitted right next to Mercer. They had an awesome result.
Our little sled was able to turn :58s and 59s in the middle of the night and if not for our little rub in T10 could have made a real run at the podium. She ran like clock-work. Oil,fuel, tires and pads. A real endorsement of the spec 911 package.
Best to all and I hope you enjoy the blog.

I think it was a 90 degree exhaust tip that fell off one of the cars. Although having a shattered windshield didn't help anything, when the sun came up it made me feel so good, I didn't even notice.

Here's a clip of another near miss for me during the 25.
