Default Anyone here at THill for the 25 hours???

We got in tonite and will be doing the open track day tomorrow, and running the 6 hour on Saturday in a E30 BMW. Crewed last year but first time driving here... very excited to finally get out on this track!

Hope anyone here has a good weekend... stop by and say hey at Pit #7!

I will try and seek CJ out... will be good to meet him and any others. Today was a great day with lots of sun and nice temps. The E30 is not quite my 944... similar speeds and laptimes but they accomplish it in a much different way. We are the black and yellow #92 car.

Nothing like still getting comfy in the blind crested corners (bypass, back chicane) and having openwheelers and others passing you on the outside!

Several cup cars out today too, and lots of big name drivers onsite. Also a nice black TechArt GTstreet in the lot. Definitely a good time and a great driving experience!

so eclou is eric too? Crud... me and one of my 2 teammates are Eric too LOL.

We are in the black and yellow #92. All experienced Conference drivers in the PNW but have not driven at THill before. What a great track!

I'm here, racing with the 3D Racing team. Green/yellow Miata #64. I'll be driving the graveyard shift.

Our car will be starting next to CJ's in tomorrow's race.

Edit: our team scored a photo in the SpeedTV.com story.

Well looks like the race is underway and great racing up front a Panoz DP-02 car is leading with 2 '09 GT3 Cups close behind (I'm cheering for Mercer Motorsports car #75 with Rich Walton, Johannes van Overbeek, Todd Granthom, et al driving). Mercer is in 3rd 4 seconds behind the leader and 1 second behind the other cup. With a best lap so far for them of 1:47, I'm thinking either Johannes or Rich are driving...

Wish I could be there.

i was there watching practice yesterday.
the #75 mercer car was well prepared. they have a 26' trailer filled with NOTHING but sticker tires ;-) and tire warmers too. beside rich walton and JvoB, john fogarty is also driving that car

the other cup has wolf hensler at the helm among others. it will be exciting to see the two 09 cups battle.

but i am stuck home baby sitting today.

Now I'm torn - I know many of the Mercer drivers but my son is crewing the Ehret Winery #7 car.

So far seems like a tight race between them

Jerry - Just cheer for both as they are still 1st and 2nd place (Mercer in the lead) and it's been that way since yesterday afternoon. The Panoz dropped way down after a couple hours.

Looks like a full-course yellow right now with 2 hours left in the race...
