Default MSR Houston Track Notes - Condition Update?

I thought I'd seen here some nice tracknotes on MSRHouston; but I haven't been able to search them out.

Anyone have something handy?

Also, any new 'ripples' to beware of?

I've been a few times but years ago. I will be there this Saturday.

Thanks so much,

Mark

Mark, I have notes from a couple of years ago. I will email them to you. Not sure about recent track degradation. Congrats again on the well deserved win!

Which direction are you going ? When was the last time you have driven it ? Ripples havn't changed much over the time, and easy to avoid by going 5 feet offline if it unsettles your car, or if you have decent adj. shocks it can be tuned out to be a non issue. Some curbing has changed depending on when you were there last.

They're still deciding which direction to run.
I raced there with NASA in maybe '06? We ran 'forward' then and I don't remember the bumps being too bad.

Then I ran part of one day there summer of '08 going 'backward' and the waves in the brake zone of the 'carousel' made the car very unhappy.

Is that a spot where you can just move off line a bit to avoid the waves?

Is what used to be backward the way they usually run now? CW and CCW are a little confusing with the pits outside the track, but seemingly surrounded.

Thanks,

Mark
