I didn't make it to the track as much as I would have liked this year, burdened with a move from Austin to Houston and some significant work demands. Still managed to make it to all my favorite tracks except for Cresson.

I smacked some curbing at the top of the hill at H2R and blew a tire and finished the weekend in the H2R NB Miata:



I raced in a car that didn't have brakes or an engine:


Enjoyed a private event at Eagle's Canyon:


Took the "high line" at H2R in May:


In September I traded cars and swapped the cab for a coupe...


But got rained out at TWS and didn't have much fun with it in October:


Chased a viper at TWS in November (I lost):


And in 2009 was my first chance to be a racing sponsor (equiraptor):

It's a compelling addiction! Any time I start to feel uncomfortable about all the money I spend on track days I just visit the wristwatches section of rennlist and suddenly it all seems reasonable.
