After the PBOC race at Barber. The four of us raised $5,000 for the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center.

As long as you aren't being treated like a 3 year old by the "security", it's a great place.

HA!

I have never had a problem with them. Maybe it's just you, Bryan?

Wish I could say so. Perhaps they've chilled, but at one point the security staff operated with the highway patrol attitude (i.e. someone gave me a little bit of power and I'm going to make sure who know just how important I am).

I have heard this from many folks whom I trust, so I am just busting your chops. I have seen them "patrolling", but when I chat them up, they say they are only looking for oil spills, jacks digging into asphalt, etc.

I think security knows about VR's avatar, that's way they treat him better than most. They are hoping for a closer look.

Tim, I think that Mustang's problem is too many stickers. They are killing teh downforce yo. I will likely be at Barbers for PBOC in March (coaching). Not sure about Memorial Day this year...

I still don't understand why PBOC allows sports racers to run with full size cars. Bad, bad, bad idea IMO.

Starting to show up in NASA SE as well.

One of my other B-I-Ls (patent attorney) gave an unsolicited dissertation on this. While it isn't directly applicable to the question you asked, the short answer is yes; unless you happen to be standing next to a publicly recognizable figure who happens to make money off selling their image (sports figure, actor, etc.). It was an interesting 'discussion' and I am sure I did not capture all of what he said; but, as was suggested, best to consult with an attorney.

Two other B-I-Ls routinely participate in track events -- attorney does not.
