That is funny as hell....though I may have to look into one of the CNC-machined billet toasters.
I thought Brawn's comment on crash-testing was interesting. Pretty sure the FIA doesn't allow virtual crash-testing in ADAMS or CATAIA....so where the hell is the car??

IIRC, didn't Minardi fail the FIA crash test (frontal IIRC) and were forced to run last year's car, which IIRC was an Arrow ?

I sense major issues with USF1, sorry to say.

The way I look at it the fia would not of sold them the license if they were not able to prove their worthiness.

I hope you're right. With a name like USF1 I don't want failure right out of the box...or before the box even opens.

Does anyone remember Beatrice, the milk company, who was going to set F1 on fire with their car. Alan Jones was suppose to be the driver. That F1 effort lasted a day or so.

You don't need a fancy shop to produce a good car. Heck you don't even need big big money. Look at Brawn. Even so that piece was a little show. Just like everything else in F1 it was planned out. All of Red Bulls time with Matchett was a calcuated move ot make the fans like Red Bull more and get more air time for Red Bull. Despite all the cool stuff we saw none of it would be of interest to any F1 team. If it would be they would not show it.

Now why show a simple cinder brick building? Maybe to show give false signals about the team? Who knows for sure.

Or we could just go into our back yards and burn 100 bills as quickly as we can shovel them into a bonfire.

I hope USF1 can pull this off, but the speed clip didn't look very promising.

I'm basically doing that now...at least this way I get to attend an F1 race as a "fractional team principal"...
