Paolo, if you had such backing, would you really run in PCA? Koni, Grand Am, ALMS????
If we have to stick to pca, to me it would be gtc3 or gta2... But then again, I never raced in those stratospheric classes.... I would probably kill myself or suck *****....

Any class for a modern Stock/Prepared Porsche (987 or 997), or 997 Cup Car.
.... unless I had a LOT of time or my own shop (and did enjoy that "backoffice" work) will rarely see myself racing older cars or highly modified monsters (GT classes).

Fred, I am just wondering which PCA class the strong PCA racers (without the financial means) would gravitate to......
Just trying to prove another one of my hyphothesis.....

Those that are fast (and/or believe in their abilities) will try to race the fastest class possible as long as there's competition (i.e. no point in racing GTP in PCA, while GTC4 is usually one of the biggest classes and can have 1 or 2 Pro drivers in the mix on a PCA race weekend).
And by the way, usually TIME is the scarcest resource...

Your question stipulates a third party footing the bill... Now that's very different isnt it?
