I am considering buying a used Sparco racing suit off eBay, but need some advice on whether the size will fit or not. I am familiar with their sizing chart (below), but does anyone out there have some real-world comparables?
I am 6'4" 200lbs and am guessing a 60 or 62 would be best. Unfortunately, I can't get anywhere to try one on between now and then.

I'm 6'2" and 210ish now but was 225 in the past and a Sparco size 62 fits me well. At 6'4" I don't think you should go with anything less than a 62, I tried a 60 and it was too tight on my "boys" while sitting in the car (w/ a 32 inseam). Sparco sizing seems to be pretty consistent, my car suit fits same as my kart suit. However, I noticed that the lower end Sparco 2 layer suit I used to have always had a bunch of excess fabric that bunched up on my chest when I strapped into the car, with the more expensive 3 layer suit this isn't a problem, probably because it isn't as thick.

I have a 60 sparco5 suit. Fits decently but is a little tight on the legs and then loose in the upper body area. 6', 211, 19% bodyfat if that helps you get the image. I would hope some of their higher end suits fit better, but I don't see myself buying one of those anytime soon haha.

APKhaos - Sounds like we're about the same size. Many thanks for the data point. 62 it is. Unfortunately, the damn suit I was looking at on eBay is a 60 so I guess I'm back to the drawing board. Will be looking for 62's now!

I say 62, maybe even a 64. I'd strongly suggest trying one on before you buy, same goes for helmets and seats. OG racing usually has excellent deals on closeout suits.

All fair points and thanks for chiming in. I'm convinced I need to try one on before buying anything. Will have to hit up a local shop sometime soon. Thanks all.

I have an older size 64 sparco, not sure the model, that I borrowed from a friend and it is way to big for me at 6'1 and 215#. A little to tall, and way to big in the waist. It is also baggy in the shoulder area and I have broad shoulders. It kind of bunches under my hans.
If you are 6'4 you might find a 64 is the right height, but have to have extra velcro sewn into the belt strap to pull the waist tight.
I'm looking to buy a size 62 Sparco Profy sometime soon.
