Default Burns ultra-lite racing mufflers

Anyone have any experience with them?

Yes, I like them but they are a bit expensive. The ones from Coast Fabrication are about the same (if not actually the same) and also work well. I have also had good luck with the Vibrant race mufflers.

I run these on my '86 911 (GT4S class) and love the sound and they are very durable.

Depending on the size they only knock 4-7db off the engine though.

Thats true- they dont so much reduce noise as they change the tone, which may or may not get you past the db meter, depending on venue.

4-7dB can be alot if it's on the upper end.

I know someone in E class that runs these and they are MUCH quieter than the megaphones I run, but are 6X the cost.

I have them on my 964. Nice sound, plenty loud. I don't have their headers, just the muffs. I had straight pipes before this, and they are not much quieter, but just enough.
