out for a SPIN

Combination of being a touch early & not enough tire left to handle the load. 1.43 g's in a 3100 lb car with 400lbs of human ballast. Passenger is a friend, we're both instructors.

I like the slo-mo and video commentary at the end ...kind of cool "teachable moment" there.
BTW, why is driver in bare hands/arms? And why does it appear he is driving with arms out straight F1-style? Seems to me that if one has a helmet on and taking laps, one should be appropriately attired for safety.

Dave, by any chances are you running a short sidewall rear tire (285/30x18)? I had my old GT3 and the Fiat snap oversteer on me with almost no feedback when running short side wall rear tires. I found running taller rear tires helped predictability at the limits of grip.
From the video, I can only see (based on the telemetry in the upper bar) that there is no slow-in/fast-out at that turn, it seems that you're on the gas but coasting. My GT3 liked braking on turn entry and plenty of gas on turn exit, it didn't like constant speed through turns.
Fast car, scary fast.

Both vids are member days at NJMP where I did some instructing this summer. Member days are good fun offer a lot of track time, bring out some interesting iron, and don't have the all the political nonsense that PCA events generally carry. They are also a little more lax on long sleeves etc.
Oh, and jrg - she got some new shoes and is very well looked after.

Dave, your pinching the exit of the lefty before the hill which contributed to your spin. Also use more track right and tighter inside line on the hill and again more track out. Could gain a second there alone. I was running similar times in a 993 NA with the varioram broken so I am sure you are good for a 1:12 there. Nice video work too.
